Abe + Ally’s Yamba Wedding | 30.09.2017

Ally + Abe’s Yamba Wedding | Yamba Wedding Photographer

30.09.2017

We loved traveling to Yamba Headland for this incredible day. Abe and Ally’s Yamba Wedding and love story started back when the fathers of the couple were good mates at school. As kids, they knew each other from afar but were properly introduced in 2014/15 in Yamba NSW.

(We say 2014/15 because they met at an NYE party but had their first coffee date a few days into the new year…)

Ally feeling a little unsure went on their first date. I can hear Abe’s voice now, “Life just doesn’t get any better than this!” After a time of dating, Abe wowed her family and Ally with his proposal……Awww, bless!

They knew that they were made for each other and by the year and a half mark, the two were engaged. Abe & ally make the perfect pair, they share a love of fine dining, travel, coffee and a good movie sipping Pinot Noir.

That’s where we come in

when we found out the wedding would be taking place in Yamba we were over the moon!

We were privileged to meet our loved-up couple at their engagement shoot, we played in the park in Brisbane City and even though they felt a bit overwhelmed (from a massive day of cars breaking down after traveling interstate to plan their day) their images were A-M-A-Z-I-N-G.

The day finally arrived and we drove to Yamba to spend the weekend with our couple and document their day. After a location scout with Abe & Ally, meeting their bridal party we were ready for Saturday.

The sun was shining the next morning, but it was beaming through a light cloud covering, Ally was a little worried that it would rain and ruin the day. But as the universe would have it, the rain stayed away until we were all safely inside at the reception and the cloud cover made for the most amazing backdrops and lighting… Enjoy Abe & Ally’s dream wedding.

[…] What I found intriguing was her gowns are all designed right here in Australia, but the hand beading work is all done in India. I think that adds to the value of this dress, the intricate details are second to none. When I see my brides in one of Karens dresses I know she is feeling her most beautiful, I mean you can’t help but feel good in Karen Willis Holmes Bridal gowns! Ally definitely loved her slip design wedding dress and we do too!  […]
